It was a real treat staying at Lawrence’s Hotel. The staff are lovely and the old fashioned and historic ambience is special. The location is superb. I would recommend arriving by taxi/bus/train rather than car as the streets are hard to navigate.

This a beautiful hotel. It is small and very well run. The dining is perfect. The breakfast buffet is sumptuous. The suite was stunning. We could walk to all the monuments as well as in to town. Everything is right there. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We love this hotel.

Impromptu Visit to Sintra
Everything about our one night stay in this romantic boutique hotel was beyond our imagination. Only wish it could have been longer. Of note, if driving you need to get a passcode/qr code from the hotel to actually enter the area to arrive at the hotel. Parking is extremely limit, though free IF you can find it on the tiny narrow streets. My understanding is that the hotel has a garage somewhere down the street but can only hold 6 cars and it's 20€ per night
