Nice hotel
It was a easy drive from Newark International Airport. Close to 278 the Staten Island Express. The breakfast was different each day. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

An okay stay
This hotel is okay. It gets the job done. Check in was daily quick and the folks at the front desk were very helpful. We booked a room with two queen beds. It was pretty spacious. The TV in the room doesn’t have Netflix just live TV & OnDemand. Shower felt great with a up to date shower head. Decent well lit bathroom. I would say that depending on your reason for visiting Staten Island would determine if you would want to stay here or not. We chose this hotel over the Hilton across the street because of the free breakfast that’s included in the booking but if it were not for that we’d be over at the Hilton. Which is much more clean & well put together in comparison. This hotel allows dogs as well so that is something to keep in mind. If you are not a deep sleeper and need a good nights rest during your stay then this is for sure not the place. You hear EVERYTHING. Doors slamming, peopling laughing, running, etc and it all throughout the night. It’s 3am right now and sounds like everything in the hotel is awake. The breakfast also gets the job done. If you are someone that doesn’t eat pork your options for hot food may be slim. We ate things like bagels, muffins, waffles, French toast. They have oatmeal but didn’t look great. If you are someone that eat on the healthy side then you know hotel breakfast in general may not be your speed especially if it’s not a restaurant. Overall, our stay was a 6/10. 3 stars

Served it's purpose
The hotel was a short drive from Newark airport and a short drive to restaurants and stores. The hotel is a little dated and the complimentary breakfast was less than average. If your room faces the interstate, the traffic noise is consistent.

Not the same as the past, but overall a solid stay
Routinely stay here when visiting family. Have been here over last 15 years, several times. Beautoful holiday decor and baseline decor has held up well. This time was less than stellar but the breakfast generally saves the hotel from all the other misgivings. No extra roll of toilet paper or conditioner for 2 days even after calling down to font desk, despite asking for daily touch up from housekeeping at check in. Maybe the policy w eco consciousness is to only give 2 paper cups for a 3 night stay and 1 roll of TP and no conditioner for 4 people for 3 nights. Conditioner wss dekivered to roim at 9pm in 2nd night after 3nd ohone call, desoite assurance it woukd be replaced on first call. Breakfast is crowded on weekends, but always a hit with the kids and adults, despite everyine eating for 3 people. Beds were comfortable, trash trucks cleared bins at 7am...beep beep beep. So pleasant and an alarm clock and other clock with time set 1 hr ahead and not able to fix it as screw in device and plug doesnt allow you to reset it. Thank you. 567$ for 3 nights. Iverall, served it purpose. But you would not please Mr Nicotra. Maybe inquire how my stay was at checkout.

This hotel gets a solid A. Coffee & tea with breakfast, & a decent coffee machine in the room. Good view, happy people, and double beds. Pricy (over $200) a night, but you get what you pay for.
