I love this place very clean and spacious rooms and love the rooftop❤️my favorite spot in Brooklyn
first checking in the receptionist was very rude and took forever to check us in . she also mentioned “NO parties , and if you are loud we will kick u out” that was really unnecessary to say to the guest i think . after long day of work and travel that’s not what we want to hear . it wasn’t welcoming vibe at all. i almost felt like she didn’t want us to stay in the hotel at all. it took about 40 min for her to do paperwork and giving us the key card . anyways first thing in the morning i see cockroaches in my towel in the bathroom . i was really shocked . expensive hotel like that has a bug in their towels . i brought the whole towel with the bug on it to the front desk and told the receptionist about it and they say they will bring the new towels for me . i waited about an hour . nobody showed up .when i came back late at night from the event i saw new towels and bed was made but they didn’t take out the trash . it was very disappointing experience. what’s the point for spending a lot of money for romantic night with a bf and get treated so horribly .
Upon check in, something that should have taken no time, the front desk clerk had to leave me in the lobby for almost 40 minutes while dealing with a drunk woman who was not even a guest of the hotel. But a patron of the rooftop bar, who said she had given a bottle to a security guard. While we waited we had to essentially stand in a corner (due to social distancing) while these drunk patrons of the rooftop bar flaunted massless faces and fell all over the lobby. I understand that things have to be taken care of but shouldn’t the bar security or manager have been handling that leaving the front desk to deal with paying guests?
We were there for a wedding during the pandemic and the staff and service was outstanding. The rooms are adorable and very clean. We had a room with a balcony and an amazing skyline view. It's a lovely hotel. We highly recommend it. We had a wonderful stay.
Customer service could have been a bit more helpful (front desk on check in specifically) Also NO HAND SOAP ON BATHROOM SINK?! Especially during this COVID-19 situation?? I had to go to CVS at night to get hand soap 👎
The hotel is beautiful, rooms very comfortable and the employees great. Unfortunately the restaurant for breakfast was closed (COVID) so we couldn’t try it. However they have an open terrace that seems marvelous, but we couldn’t get reservations. We could, however order takeout and it was exquisite. Pricey but great.
Hotel was nice, room was beautiful. Rooftop had limited menu and no room service. Too crowded to enjoy. Should at least have room service for guests. Not many dining options in neighborhood. Online it said waterfront. Did not see waterfront anywhere.
I like the balcony in the room. I didn't like the drinks at the rooftop bar. The drinks were watered down. No issues with the hotel or the room.
Beautiful place, but parking very difficult. Bed was so so, and there was music blaring from the rowdy rooftop bar late into the evening on Friday.
