Not Bad for the Price
My boyfriend and I were there for thee one stay for a work trip. I will say that the mountain view from our hotel room. The only downfall(s) I had will my room is that the side of our bed was very dusty, the room lighting was very dim (wish it was a little brighter) and the bathroom window was also old school and had to crank it in and out.

Nice Stay at the Orleans
Check-in was very slow; need more staff to speed up check-in at critical times. A staff member was very helpful in switching me to the 19th floor after a couple of days in a room on the 3rd floor overlooking a parking lot. The view of the Strip from the 19th Floor was amazing. Parking was free, which is one of the reasons I booked the Orleans, but a bit of a walk to the guest rooms. Housekeeping staff readily provided clean towels and toiletries. The pool was closed (seasonal), with no complimentary access to the sauna and steam room to help weather the cold air outside. Overall, I enjoyed the stay.

over-priced stay
This stay was overpriced. The hotel was ok to good, but the bed pillows were hard! My advice is to generally to avoid Las Vegas. A resort destination which used to be a bargain, is now a rip-off. Yesterday I paid $8.00 for a beer in the casino bar, plus tip! I was told by hotel employees that the Strip hotel Vegas bars now charge $18. per beer! This is violating. Also, be careful of what these hotels quote you as the room rate. We were charged an extra $49. per night "resort fee". Sort of a hidden scam in my opinion. Important: The local voters created a hotel guest charge to pay for local sports stadiums! You will pay this absurd room charge extortion regardless of whether you attend any games. This stadium charge is ONLY leveled on the Vegas hotel guests! unbelievable. This will be our last trip to Vegas for a long time.
