It is a beautiful city. Mainly it is for faithful Catholics who want to see the place where Saint Bernadette had her visions of Mary.

It's been 20 years since our last visit. The world has changed but the only change in Lourdes are the baths. Lovely polish priest who led all the english masses and rosaries . So delightfully quiet unlike our last August visit. We will come again

Expect to walk a lot as the bus service from near the train station is every half an hour to the Sanctuary. There's plenty of dining options with variety of cuisines.

A beautiful spot with so many things to do. I wish we could have stayed longer. If you have a car the drive out to Hautacam is worth the view!

Visiting in winter means a lot of things were closed and not a lot of visitots. We had to drive to find open restaurants and convenience stores to buy some water and fruit.
"One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at! The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful with all requests. I would recommend the hotel to anyone!"
"For the last 16 years, I’ve stayed at Best Western Beasejour when I do my pilgrimage to Lourdes. It is very convenient as it is right across from the Gare de Lourdes (train station) and only a 15 minute walk to the shrine. It is very clean, comfortable and quiet. It also has the best restaurant in the Haute Pyrenees, Le Parc restaurant. The staff, especially Madam at the front desk is always welcoming and friendly. Whether you are a family with children, friends, pilgrim groups, couples or solo travelers like me, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay in Lourdes. It is truly the “Best.” "
