Vernal is what they call "God's Country". Not a big fan of the high desert butttttttttt Vernal is amazingly gorgeous. Specially at sunrise or sunset. You really don't see much like it in other high desert places!

We love Lemongrass Thai Fusion, we always try to stop here for curry and drunken noodles. We love coming here for mountain biking in the area and love when our region is picked to have our mountain bike races here.

Close to the Dinosaur Monument. Only spent one night but plenty of dining and stay options. Plus, the area around is pretty.

Quality Inn Vernal near Dinosaur National Monument
10/10 Excellent
"This Quality Inn provided very comfortable, quiet and clean overnight accommodations prior to our full day of exploring Flaming Gorge! The moderate price was a big bonus and on-site steak house was very convenient. Recommend! "
"This was a great place to stay. Not your typical motel. It was very private and quiet. I stayed in the 2 queen bed room. It was welcoming and so clean. The shower was SO clean it looked like brand new. Thick towels that actually were body sized was so nice. The beds were SO comfortable. Definitely more on the softer side. I would 100% stay here again. "
