Imagine strolling along Amalfi Harbour for some great waterfront pics when in the heart of Amalfi. Our travellers also like the cathedral in the area – your cultural tour starts here. If you carry on walking you'll get to Amalfi Beach, Spiaggia Duoglio, and Atrani Beach for some more water views.
Commune with nature and explore the great outdoors at Grotta dello Smeraldo during your travels in Amalfi. Stroll along the beautiful beaches or visit the stunning cathedral in the area.

Really stressful trying to get the bus to Ravello from Amalfi - advise you go early. Make sure you buy tickets before getting on the bus. We visited the gardens of Villa Cimbrone which were absolutely wonderful and well worth seeing.

Lovely town with friendly people. Walking gets you anywhere you need. But definitely recommend renting a moped/vespa and visiting neighbouring areas and towns.

Transportation around Amalfi is not good. Taxi prices are not regulated and drivers will try to screw you. Buses are often so full that you can't get on them. Driving a car is crazy and walking is frightening on the roads with no sidewalks.

Amalfi seems like one of the seven wonders of the world that has been assaulted by countless tour buses and packed in tourist. It's quiet for a short time in the morning and evening enough to sneak in a romantic walk and gelato.

A great base to explore the coast, or spend a few days exploring the town - a magical time either way!

Family friendly and more local but if you're a couple visiting for the first time, stay in Positano

Amalfi is ridiculously beautiful, but still quite crowded in October these days.

The only downside was that some of the staff at the ferry ticket booths were rude and not helpful. The buses queues were a nightmare, no organisation at all, overcrowded buses long waits. No extra buses were put on when ferries weren't running.

Amalfi is a beautiful town and the coastline is gorgeous. Also a good idea to look into Positano.
"We recently stayed for the 8 days during our honeymoon and this was a perfect stay! We loved the hotel and the shuttle was great for getting to and from the city centre and private beach club. The drivers were so great and fun! Breakfast was fresh and delicious everyday and the view every morning was beautiful! The beach club was a really nice perk and it was great to be able to visit, service was awesome and they make a great Aperol Spritz! The room was clean and again, the view was just beautiful and we loved our stay. We didn’t want to leave! Rebecca the front desk attendant for most of our stay had great recommendations for dinner in the Amalfi centre and was so helpful during our first night with a great dinner recommendation and helped set up a ride for us as we had such a long travel day. Overall an absolutely beautiful hotel and stay, further up from the city centre but worth it for the view!"
"What a wonderful experience! Everyone is super friendly and kind. My room was clean, breakfast was great, and dinner was outstanding! Special shoutout to Elia, Affonso and the 2 guys at the front desk. They were very professional, attentive, gracious and kind. From breakfast, to showing us how to get to neighbouring towns, places of interest and even halting a bus! We were so well looked after. Thank you for making our holiday so special and memorable! "
"Stayed 6 nights as a family of 4. We stayed in the family suite. The suite is spacious and has plenty of room for the clothes. The room offers a large balcony overlooking the sea. If you want to enjoy your bottle of wine on the balcony do not forget to pack a bottle opener as the hotel doesn’t provide it. Breakfast is really good, with yummy pastry and excellent coffee. Highly recommend this hotel."
"Loved the property amazing views. Staff was great attentive to our needs. Private Beach and Jacuzzi. Breakfast was amazing well done. But be prepared to walk lots of steps not for the week 160 steps down to hotel and another 200 to get to the beach. "
