Grand Rapids has SO much to offer! We visited from Ohio and had such a great time at the John Ball Zoo, the Meijer sculpture gardens, the Public Museum and the Ford Presidential museum. Delicious places to eat as well. Highly recommend a visit!!

I come from Chicago specifically to eat at Wolfgang's in Grand Rapids. Their hazelnut coffee and food are amazing. The Cheese Lady is also exquisite and delightful.

Don't waste time with BYOB Holiday Lights Trolley Ride. Not worth the money. The Enlighten event at Meijer Gardens was phenomenal.

We drove down to check out the Lantern Festival at the zoo. It was wonderful! We ate at Yesterdog and Donkey super great food, service ect. Everything was fantastic, we were just disappointed in our hotel stay.
"The front desk was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean and well appointed. The breakfast options were limited, but it has everything you need for a full breakfast. The property is situated along Medical Mile, so there aren't a lot of choices for dining, but it is a very safe area. There is a bus stop close by to take you to Grand Rapids downtown proper."
