NO Way
We actually took one look and bailed out of there! Disgusting. Its a tenement building in worst part of blackpool. Didnt even ask for money back. Just booked elsewhere immediately and got the hell out of there!

Not sure when photos were took but they are fake
Very dirty and run down. No staff or reception. Don’t assume the bad reviews are just a matter of perception. This place really is that bad and not good by anyone standards dangerous electrical sockets and uneven cracked flooring where the tiles cut your feet. Dirty throughout and smells strongly of weed.
Rusted and dirty
Picked up a towel and cut my finger
Floor so cracked the edge of the tiling cuts your feet

2/10 Poor

Property was run down and in desperate need of upgrade/deep cleaning. Rooms were dirty and unkempt, windows were broken and drafty, blinds broken, beds rickerty, towels and bedding stained, shower was awkward to maintain temperature and not connected correctly (cold was hot and vice versa) sadly the list is endless. Avoid at all costs

No heating. Windows left wide open prior to entering room. Yet catches on window broken so wouldn’t close properly, letting icy draft in. Had to move rooms due to this and no signal on tv. Second room. Equally cold and windows not fully shutting but viewable tv. No tea/coffee in second. Bathroom door also wouldn’t shut properly. Wouldn’t stay again.

Needs updating and health and safety check
Room very basic, no kettle, provided tea and coffee making facilities but no kettle ?, bed very uncomfortable, bunk bed sqeeky and not very stable, rubish under beds, Blind to window not able to shut, soap dispenser not working, door handle to shower room loose, not enough toilet roll, no towels provided, no bins for rubbish, very noisy at night ? Who from, water running down side of property from broken pipe, prams/push chairs at bottom of stairs could barly get past health and safety risk, no fire instructions in room, only positives was the location and only staying for 1 night.

Won’t return
Arrived at 3.30 to be left stood like a lemon as room not ready but on here states check in from 2.30. Room smaller than expected on images but ok until we sat on the bed it was like there was no mattress on it. Didn’t complain as for the price for 2 adults and 2 kids was cheap. But didn’t get a second of sleep, adults talking in another language really loud at 1.30 am. Small child also there screaming, doors banging all night. Got up at 7.30 and left will never return

Family room
Olive Lodge was very comfortable. The shower in the bathroom was broken and there were 4 girls sharing a room which was inconvenient. The bathroom looked a little tired but the room and bedding was very clean. We were also confused about breakfast so we found a diner close by.

Pleasant enough stay.
Greeted on arrival by friendly owner. Asked about breakfast, was informed that this would be continental (croissants, cereals, fruit etc) but was a bit steep at £5 a head so £25 in total paid cash for this. Top floor room, spacious, clean and basics provided. Quiet hotel and area. Breakfast was ready by 8am for us to help ourselves to. Kitchen areas could do with a tidy up and some rearanging though. Couple of prams, laundry bags, and no sink! Overall we would stay again but not for breakfast.

Acceptable stay
When arriving was difficult to park but was resolved. Was a lovely hotel only few things that was alarming really was bunk beds top bunk was not assembled properly side bar was not fully attached and could've done with a fan in the room with being top floor in the hotel other than that really enjoyed our stay
