Our favourite Blackpool hotel
Very slow on reception therefore nearly always a queue. No faults with cleanliness. Hotel staff always polite and friendly. Need to keep on top of minor stuff i.e curtains wouldn't close properly, batteries in TV remote old and crusty. However this is our 3rd visit and we like it.

Memorably good!
Stayed one night with my adult son. This is a building from another era and it felt a privilege to stay here for a reasonable price! By new, modern hotel standards it may not be up to par but our room was clean and we had a good night's sleep. We had breakfast and an evening meal and the food was amazing. Staff very polite and attentive. We'd definitely return if we needed a hotel in Blackpool again.

Old time grandeur that could with a touch of TLC
Staff were lovely, room needed updating but needs to be done in a way that doesn’t lose the olde world charm - it’s a fine balance but it would be good to have nicer paintwork, particularly on the window frames. Breakfast was perfectly adequate (nice pancake making machine - just press a button!). Location is a little away from the centre which is perfect for avoiding the chaos that can be Blackpool on an evening!

4/10 Fair

Quiet room requested..Got 1 above a function room!
We recently arranged for a wee overnight stay in Sunny Blackpool at the Imperial Hotel. The main issue we had was we requested a quiet room and were hoping that given its size it would not be an issue. Unfortunately we were given a 1st floor room directly above a function suite which was hosting a Dance camp. Why the need to start classes at 6:30 a.m. on a Sunday morning Ill never know!!!!! Decor in rooms is very tired and handles from drawers were loose or missing. Windows in room looked like they had not been washed for a significant period of time. Bed was nice and comfy and room was clean. Staff were very polite and pleasant and breakfast was brill so that was positive. I would reccomend staying here as its location means you are not in central Blackpool but if you are looking for a peaceful Sunday morning avoid room 129..!!!
