Very thoughtful and welcoming
It is so thoughtful that the hotel not only prepares basic toileteries, hair curler/straightener and hair dryer, they also give every female guest santitary pads and a mask.

A good pleasant stay
A pleasant good stay, they provide toiletries & both body & face towel plus slippers + free breakfast too! Even got TV inside your cabin. Facilities are good. Everything is clean & comfy. Locker space is not big enough to put ur luggage in but there’s enough space to move around or arrange your stuff so no issue for me. It’s not a a too big hall for each floor so no of pax just nice, not too much noises, managable to sleep n all.

Unbelievably clean! Great location within minutes of a subway station, and very affordable. It exceeded my expectations.

The hotel itself is very nice actually. I was arranged to have a lower bunk bed in 1st floor so I don't have to climb the stairs for my room. I arrived late at night but still was able to check in for my bed. The convenience store is a little far from the hotel, around 5 mins walk. But I wouldn't too recommend solo female travellers to go out at night unless you want random men to hit on with you because Kabukichou is a place where men and women find fun and have drinks. But yeah it is quite safe in the morning as there are many major companies in Shinjuku and many people pass by that area.

Shinjuku great location for the hotel.
The capsule hotel was very clean overall. For some weird reason, I found the beds really comfortable ( make sure you get the lower capsule. ) climbing to my bed every time was so very difficult. The capsule hotel is nearby a JR line and about 20 min walk to the metro. The breakfast they offer is just, cream/ buttter filled rolls with a variety of bottled Coffee. Staff was polite. Shinjuku is a great location For several activities. You have clubs, plenty of restaurants, robot shows, shops , etc.

Cheap capsule in central Tokyo
I booked this hostel because it was comparatively cheap accommodation in a good area. Shin-Okubo is a great area to stay in, however they really need to inform their guests that the station is currently under construction so there is NO elevator or escalator at all. You need to walk 5 minutes down the road and use Okubo station if you have large luggage. The hostel is clean and well maintained, like most modern hostels in Tokyo. Most of the staff can communicate in English. I was surprised that not only do they not charge for towels, but you can get a fresh towel each day for no extra cost. They also give you a small bag of amenities like a toothbrush and face towel. HOWEVER. I suspect this generosity is to make up for the almost complete lack of heating in the capsules. The lobby was well heated (in January), but the dorm room was quite cold. And what little heat was in the dorm didn't reach the capsules at all. Mine, along with other people's in my dorm, was FREEZING cold. For some reason I was given 2 duvets (no one else was) but I was still freezing every single night. I had to sleep with a down jacket and socks. It was difficult to get to sleep because my face was freezing from the cold air in the capsule. A European woman in my dorm compared it to Siberia. The capsule has a "fan" button on the panel, but pressing it did literally nothing. I was also unable to connect to their wifi, which I suspect has something to do with the way they configured it.

Hotel Yes, Area No
I’ve lived in Japan for 4 years, but the people in the area are just rude (and not just a few bad experiences). Thankfully I had a few good experiences in the area, which are more typical of the Japan I know and love. I’d recommend the hotel, but please don’t judge Japan on the people in the area.

Global Hotel Male Dorm Stay
Clean and well placed pod hostel. Near heaps of stores and restaurants within a quick walk. Fairly easy to locate and find, with good signage and off a busy main street. Everybody is given slippers and a locker at check in, per usual in Japan it keeps things clean in shared rooms. Actual male room has 30 or so pods and 3/4 showers so it can be somewhat busy at certain times. Very warm in room, causing some discomfort and inability to sleep real well. Overall price and location make for a quality stay and convenient. Most rooms and personal spaces are small in Japan and this holds true here, but Tokyo is a big city so spend the time out exploring! Clean, convenient and good value.
