We had a great dtay at this hotel. It was easy ealking distance to many restaurants, it offered free parking and breakfast, breakfast was a good spread and our room, which was an apartment was very comfortable and spacious.

We liked that we could walk to many sights such as the Cathedral, Museum and the beautiful park. We also liked the fact that breakfast was included and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We missed not having a pool and our room smelt musty when we arrived so we opened a window to air it out.

I canceled the hotel,but they said I would not get a refund. Usually you can get a refund. The hotel said no refunds. I will never book with Hotels.com again because of this. I would in the Travel business for years and the policy was that you could cancel 24 hours prior. I don’t think its fair that you don't give a refund especially since someone else could book that room. This way the hotel benifits. I've worked in the Travel industry and we always tried to accommodate the costumer.

The hotel is in great condition. It was remodeled in 2019, so I was told. Close to down town and the main sqaure. Staff was friendly and polite. The hallways are green and have pictures of trees which seems kind of funky when walking through. Other than that a great place to stay with a very good breakfast that is included in the price.

My wife and I arrived to check in to our double deluxe room and were given a key card. Went to our room to discover: SURPRISE you get two separate single beds in a TINY room! Explained to reception that this was not the room I booked and SURPRISE again your reservation SAYS double deluxe room but "we're sorry we don't have any other rooms...we're fully booked!" No other hotels had availability and so we had no choice to accept the room and hope to speak with a manager about a refund. Speaking with the manager their remedy was to refund us their posted differences in prices to the room and "upgrade us to an apartment suite for our last day" what a treat! So we stick it out for two nights and days. Their breakfast is pretty rough and you're better off to just go to a local cafe for some REAL coffee (I've had better coffee in motel 6s off of interstate hwys) Time to pack up and store our luggage for the day and move into our nice new apartment! The apartment is new alright: in fact it's SO new that it's at that stage where the builder is ALMOST done but not quite (the threshold of the shower wasn't installed and so the shower leaked onto the bathroom floor for example) We were advised there is a $30 difference between the rate for the twin room and a deluxe double and this was the only refund offered. That is not what we paid and the inconvenience was worth far more than that! This situation was not well handled.
