Our initial accommodations at another location was cancelled unbeknownst to us so we scheduled last minute online for a room at this Holiday Inn. We walked to the location to check to make sure they received our reservation and within 10 minutes we were in a room. We were so grateful and found the staff friendly and the hotel clean and quiet.

A good visit at a solidly average hotel. My only issue was the ever busy elevators (only two for the whole place) and the equally tiny lobby space - packed with too many people for most daytime hours. Staff was very helpful & pleasant, despite having NO room to function in the overcrowded lobby. The room was pleasant and comfortable - also mostly quiet. For a quick trip, this hotel could serve your needs.

The room was clean. I was not a fan of the elevator situation, but I understand there is not much you can do about that. Also, when I booked the room I was supposably getting a city view (I was on floor 17) and I really did not, I was looking at one building the whole time which is not a city view, but other than that it was a good stay overall.

Great place to stay in NYC. We were moving hotels and checked in early (10:30a) here expecting to just store luggage and come back when room was ready. Surprised that we had a room way up high on the 28th floor ready!! This was fantastic so we could get on with our day. A/C was great. Room was clean and well appointed. Feather and non-feather pillows. Plenty of plug-ins, TV easy to operate. Plenty of hot water, both elevators were working and were very fast. Easy walking distance to Madison square garden, Times square and the theatre district. Plenty of food options near by. We were so high up. City noise wasn't an issue for sleeping. Mini fridge was cool, not cold. But good enough to store a few drinks. Price was high ($500+/night), but there were a few events in town and it was adjacent to a holiday weekend... So maybe that was why.
