This is my go to place for staying in Sunset Park. Close to the subway and locations in Brooklyn I need to get to. This hotel is comfortable and feels safe. Rooms are comfortable, but I feels outdated and some work needed. Can be expensive, but this time the price was well suited for my needs.

The staff here are great, friendly and helpful. Had several positive and helpful conversations with the reception staff. We slept well and beds were comfortable. Also enjoyed the continental breakfast each day. We weren't very pleased with the glass walls to the shower-room/ toilet which meant that to get any privacy, one of us either left the bedroom or turned off the shower-room lights. Crazy design. Another issue for us was the location- it is further out from Manhattan than we expected - although it was a relatively short walk to the nearest MTA station, the trains are slow. There is nothing much to see locally.

Functional location close to subway stop. Room was very clean and a good size with a decent closet to hang clothes but the glassed in bathroom meant every time my room mate went to the loo during the night and switched on the light, the entire hotel room got illuminated. Checked in after midnight and the overnight staff member David was very efficient and pleasant. Could not figure out the coffee machine in the room and the bar fridge seemed to be have been set to freezing temperature so something I had to keep cold, was frozen in the morning. Like everything else in NY this hotel is overpriced compared to most other US locations.

Yousef and Chris were extremely helpful and pleasant. The hotel was clean and the room had a gorgeous view of the Manhattan skyline. The shower was nice and big- plenty of room to spread out your toiletries. The restaurant was small but perfect for a quick cup of coffee and a muffin to go. The chef/server was very nice! I really enjoyed my stay!
