It was a good place to stay, but there was no internet signal in the rooms. Also, they should look into accepting credit cards.

Hotel was in bad state and in dire need of repair, its in a good location but hasn't been kept up to date and things are falling apart. It rained one night and the ceiling of my room started to leak onto my bed, bathrooms were terrible, no toiletries provided. Really bad experience!

Great location and family friendly
Lovely family-friendly place to stay. Basic. It isn’t super luxurious but it is comfortable and the staff are super friendly and helpful. The location is excellent. Right on the ocean and within a short walk to the market and local town.

Comfortable enough
I loved this place, I didn’t expect it to be amazing, and it wasn’t. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was terrible, they might need to review their options for this. The best on offer is omelette which is twice a week and fruits. The menu had a lot of options. I quite enjoyed everything I had off that menu. The WiFi is almost non existent. It rarely works, very frustrating but when it decides to work, it’s decent enough. The room was comfortable enough for what I paid. I booked the round hut which was small but was upgraded to a sea view room which was more spacious. Rooms are cleaned everyday though they are stingy with towels. There’s 2basic single beds in each room some drawers, storage space and a mosquito net. The bathroom again very basic, shower toilet sink. Hotel is next to the beach and there’s a nice deck outside the restaurant. It’s also on the main road for taxis to anywhere else. For the price I paid I had a pleasant stay.

2/10 Poor

Threatened not supported by security staff
Aggression racism physical abuse experienced from security staff when attempting to park our car. Further compounded by blocking of support by reception staff on duty. We felt abused , attacked and blocked. And then we're woken at 1.30 am to move our car because the member of staff using the parking space had left then. We also needed to move rooms because it was ridiculously noisy. There was no mosquito net, both lights o the Bathroom not working making it impossible To shower, and pillows like stone . On the 3 occasions on the 1st day I needed To go to reception on the 1st day the staff meMber on duty was polite and did his best to help . Those isdues by comparison are nowhere nrar as serious as the agression, racism and blo king of support.

Everything would have been fine if they had hot water. Also it's much cheaper to book direct rather than through Expedia.

A really nice hotel. Rooms are quite basic but adequate for a comfortable stay and cleaned daily. Staff are very nice and the resort is nicely situated with stunning views across the sea. We had a lovely very restful holiday. Would go back.

Very good mid price hotel.
Make sure you get a sea view with balcony to get a wonderful vista and a cooling sea breeze...A/C isn't needed as the fan will do. The hotel is basic but clean and comfortable, the staff are on the whole very kind and helpful. The only issue we had was the lack of a fridge in the room which can be hired but the cost is around 25 quid a week! We didn't use the pool but it seemed very popular with sunspots and shade available. Wi-fi coverage was not reliable but ok for holiday purposes. The nightly entertainment was varied and excellent should you wish to stay in also the restaurant offers enough options to satisfy. Its location in Bakau is good with bars and restaurants nearby with the beach at Cape Point a short walk away. Avoid conversations with the local so called "guides" who hang around the entrance of the hotel...be polite and friendly just tell them you've been before and need no assistance and you'll be fine.

Mixed feelings
I thought slavery had been abolished! ! Trainee staff don't get paid in the first three months some are not even allowed to keep tips from guests. After training the wage is 12.5 pence yes that's right 12.5 pence per hour for a 72 hour week. Shameful On the plus side great swimming pool and beach area.
