For a small town it is a good hotel (I think the only one) but the staff (Rosa, Alba her dog and other girl - can’t remember name - but took a pic w her) made it even better. Super helpful with everything. Went the extra mile to make sure we got to our destinations. Highly recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel
The Swiss Heidi Hotel was a nice place for a short stay. The decor is “IKEA”ish, but up to date. Lots of windows so you can see the beautiful mountains. The breakfast was adequate. Location was not center of town and in more of an industrial area, but the town is close by. This is the town where the beautiful children’s author created the story “Heidi” and you can see the inspiration!

Hotel for a brief stopover
Somehow outdated style and not in best condition but good location near train station, highway exit and city center in walking distance. All you need for a brief stopover.

A quick night layover for us. Noticeable cow dung smell outside upon exiting private free open air car parking lot (there's even a statue of a cow at the entrance.) Rooms were very clean with plenty of storage space. Breakfast buffet was nice touch with even a fresh squeeze orange juice machine, assorted baked breads and croissants, assorted cured meats in addition to standard breakfast items. Across the street was a machinery (?) shop so could be loud upon opening windows during business hours. No AC, so room can get hot and stuffy, but didn't want to open windows due to cow dung smell however (not noticeable inside the rooms).

A breakfast buffet to day for
The Swiss Heidi Hotel was a beautiful experience. The price for my room was fair and everything was clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. The location is convenient, if you are traveling by car, because it is close to the Highway ( but absolutely quiet) with plenty of parking space.
The view from the rooms and especially from the panorama room is breathtaking.

Good, but there is less decorations about Heidi, my sister live there 10 years ago, there are some sheeps at the back of hotel and a robot for cutting grass but there nothing now.
Besides, for the room decoration, my sister said there is Heidi's logo on the window but no now.

Industrial and Sterile
Hotel was advertised as kid friendly Swiss experience in majestic area. Nothing could be further from the truth. It is located in an industrial zone and has absolutely no outside other than a very busy parking lot. Not at all child friendly. Very clean and very European basic. Tiny rooms. Bed was a small Murphy bed with hard mattress. No amenities to speak of. Some of the staff were very friendly, others VERY stiff and proper. None had any knowledge of the area. Front desk staff jacked up the price by $70 upon arrival and made sure to charge every extra they could - including printing our map to the airport and our boarding passes - rather than advise us that there was a computer with free printer one level up. We discovered that a few hours later - it was out of ink and all the front desk person did was shrug. Breakfast was great. Plenty to choose from and very sanitary. Even a machine to cook your own eggs. Overall - great for a business traveler - not the place to stay if you have kids or want a Swiss experience, room with a view or somewhere to run around outside.

Nice hotel near the Highway exit
I stayed there 1 night with my fiancee, because we decide to go 1 weekend by Bad Ragaz Tamina Thermen. The hotel is 1 minute from Bad Ragaz highway exit, and 3 minutes by car from the Thermen. Staff was really friendly, we had a nice room with hills view, and the breakfast was perfect: everything we needed was there. despite the location I think it's worth to stay here.
