We stayed here for a weekend and enjoyed it a lot.The room was clean, the breakfasts were excellent and it was great to have a pool to be able to use. The hotel is ideally located, with lots to do and see within walking distance. We would happily return.

Fantastic value, extremely comfortable and generously proportioned room which I would have paid double for in some parts of the country. Hotel is in a lovely setting fronted by a cricket pitch, and the staff were all personable and attentive.

Set in a beautiful location this traditional hotel is a great base for anyone looking to explore the local countryside. My trip was budiness based and was perfectly adequate for my needs. Food and service were excellent but if you want a high tech and luxury stay this is not what this hotel is about.....good traditional hotel.

My single superior room was just what the Doctor ordered a haven to reset and decompress. I used the pool which was quite large and not over run with people thanks to booked time slots. I had a double bed and great views a great room for a single traveller. I had a lovely stay and will definitely visit again as it really does represent value for money

The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Minor irritation over broken toilet roll holder and coat hook not replaced in my room, and no towel rail in my son's. A group of fellow sailors and their partners who joined us for the evening meal raved about the food, but my son and I were disappointed at the restricted choice of vegetarian options. The service was fantastically fast and friendly both in the evening and at breakfast.
