Exceptional 10.0
Quiet, clean, friendly hotel!!
Accommodation was exceptional! They brought us new towels daily, extra toothbrush sets, and supplied detergent! Room was spacious and clean! The front desk team spoke English and was able to help us with questions. Breakfast was delicious too!

Very Good 8.0
Good size and utilities, but dusty.
The room was a good size, especially the bathroom, and the included washer/drier was very nice. The ledge at the top of the bed was very dusty, as was the floor between the headboard and wall. The Shinjuku-Chuo Park across the road was nice, and the Tokyo Government Building on the other side of it provides a free (but very popular) observation deck to view the city. 15-20 minutes walk beyond those is Shinjuku Station, though you can also take the subway from Nishi-Shinjuku-Gochōme Station, which is closer to the hotel. The buffet breakfast was also nice, with a mix of (daily changing) Western and Japanese options.

It's fine...
This hotel is not going to thrill you in any way, but it gets the job done. It seems to be for a lot of long-stay guests, probably staying on business as there was usually a few people doing work in the lobby during the day. Location was good, which was our priority. If you are visiting Tokyo for the first time and want to be where the life is, I wouldn't recommend it here as the area has a lot of big business buildings etc. But it's close enough to what you need. TIP: they have smoking rooms, so when booking be sure to double-check your selection for smoking/nonsmoking. We accidentally booked a smoking room, and there were no more non-smoking, so we had to pay for a big upgrade just to be in a non-smoking (non stinky) room.
