A big reason to come to Crete and stay in Heraklion is Captain Napoleon. Fantastic breakfast included, wonderful rooftop views, nice pool, good room with balcony, not far from the airport and ferries, and best of all the staff went truly above and beyond to make our stay and vacation great.

Wow, what a fantastic hotel, definite a diamond in the rough. The area is a bit on the run down side but the moment you step behind the gates to the hotel, it is clean modern and well maintained. The staff at the hotel are so lovely always with a smile and a warm welcome. Room was lovely, views from our room 304 not great but we did not book for the views. All the amenities you need in the room, bathroom products, fridge, tv, iron, small cooking area. Really comfortable bed. Lovely pool little on the chilly side but well needed after a long walk around the port and town. Easy access to many areas either by walking, bus or taxi. Lovely breakfast to set you up for the day. I can’t recommend this hotel enough for a little city break, we had 2 night here prior to going to a beach hotel. Don’t hesitate to book this hotel if you are wanting to stay in this area, it won’t disappoint.
