Parking was very close to the lobby. Check in went smoothly. To get to the rooms, you have to pass over the pool area, which was awkward. The main pool was very large and clean. But the smaller pools and jacuzzis were drained and unsightly. Room was nice, but it and the property in general, needs updating and maintenance. At a time when hotel patron numbers are lower do to Covid, routine maintenance should be a priority. For example, blown ceiling bulbs make the halls dark, but can be corrected cheaply and easily. It took almost 24 hours to remove several abandoned room service food trays from a hallway alcove. We like the room layout, which isolates the bathroom from the sleeping area. They do have an amazing gym complex. Kites restaurant has limited selections, average food quality and the service was weak. The property is showing its age and needs an investment of time and money to bring its quality up to the level of the cost charged for the room, which was about $400 per night, including tax and fees.
