I'll start with the positives, because there aren't many. It's a close walk to the airport. The iPad controls were easy to use.
Other than that, this was probably the most impractical room design I've ever seen.
I do not understand why Europeans are so obsessed with watching each other bathe and use the toilet, but these open concept bathrooms need to die.
This one has 2 circular pods, one for toilet and one for shower. They are plopped one each side of the room and take up far more space than a traditional bathroom, leaving space for literally nothing else. Not even a place to put your bags or clothes other than the floor.
And of course they are both glass walled. There is a curtain between the bed and the "bathroom" as if to imply they understand maybe people want privacy, but it too is see through and therefore pointless.
So we have not just zero privacy, but if one of you wants to shower while the other is still asleep, have fun doing it in the dark.
The rest of the space is bizarre and impractical as well. For example, the mirror is next to the sink rather than in front of it. Why? My husband said it made shaving awkward.
Just a silly room. Bathrooms have existed in the same form for decades for a reason.
The only reason I would ever stay here again is I don't want to pay a bunch of $ just to crash at the airport.
