4/10 Fair

Very dirty, would only stay here, if I only needed a bed
1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Black mold on the madres

Not even a hotel. It’s like a hostel. The stairs smelled. The rooms were kinda clean, but all 4 madrases had black mold underneath, super disgusting. The price for a night seemed cheap considering it was in Copenhagen, but after seeing the room it was no longer considered cheap, instead seemed overpriced. I would 100% pay just a bit more to find a different hotel next time. Will never visit Hotel Copenhagen again.

Nothing great but nothing bad!

This is a budget hotel and that's exactly what you get. The location is quite good and had comfy beds. The building itself is very tired and the stairwell to the rooms smells of urine, but the corridors to the rooms, the bathrooms and the bedrooms do not smell at all. We were only here for a night and got a good sleep after spending all day walking so we couldn't have expected more considering how little we paid for it. We'd stay again if we were in Copenhagen for a short trip. Also we arrived out of office hours at the weekend and the duty manager went called for access to the building was very helpful.

Staff is really helpful with everything!

2/10 Poor

This hotel was not an enjoyable part of my trip, sadly. I felt like parts could do with a deep clean. Instructions to get into the building to check in was also not ideal. Myself and another guest were standing at the door confused, couldn’t find what we needed etc! Things were also dirty! Wouldn’t stay here again.

Good for a short stay

Some noise from the corridor, I clearly heard someone taking a half hour shower. Squeeking inner door to room.

Good compared to price level

Nice location, quit neighbourhood. Room ok compared to price. No good sound insulation. Good service available if needed.

We had a long layover so stayed one night. I didn’t pay attention when I booked the room that it had a shared bathroom. I believe they do have private bathrooms. Great family accommodation for a very short stay.

The property location in a quiet area near city attractions with 2 to 3 lm walking distance near the water channel.

Great place for putting your head down for two nights. Takes a bit getting used to having communal bathrooms and showers but it wasn't too much of a concern for us.

Do not go here

This has to be the worst hotel experience of our lives. We emailed a few days before arrival that we would be arriving late; no response. When we called the day of arrival we were assured no problem, just give a call when we arrive. Also parking was included, all good. So when we arrive: it takes 10 minutes for them to answer the phone… by somebody who is completely unable to find our reservation, has to call other people and takes again more than 5 minutes to give the code to the front door. Then we go inside to the locker box, only to be hung up on! Without a code to get our room key of course. It takes us 10 minutes of calling back to get another person on the phone, who then takes another 5 minutes to find the reservation and finally gives us the code to get our room key. That room turns out to be in a building in a different street and when we finally manage to locate the room, it opens up to be a sauna. We have a travel clock that tells the temperature which is over 32°C inside. With no air condition, a fan, or even more than one small window that opens in the room. I slept on the floor in front of the door so we can have a little draft by keeping it open through the night while keeping my family safe. And the promised parking? Full. Staff on the phone were completely unwilling to give any suggestions for parking in the area, so we were left to our own devices after driving since 6 in the morning with two small children arriving late at night. And no WiFi.

10/10 Exceptional

This place was perfectly decent for the price. It was not as nice or luxurious as a JW Marriott, but it was priced appropriately and therefore I think it was just great. The kitchen was nice and adequately equipped. The bathroom was small, but everything worked great including a nice strong hot shower. The bedroom was large enough and clean with nice big windows. We were very satisfied.

Nice stay, with minor problems

It was hard to get inside after 10 PM, but after a complicated walktrough, and a lost telefon signal, we managed. When trying to connect to the internet, we could find a code, and when leaving the room we found leftover waste under the bed... The Toilet facilites were suprisingly good Even tough the hotel is overall worn out, it was a nice stay without big problems.

Price and quality match

The bathroom and toilet was fine and the bed sheets and sink in the room good. Do not touch the curtains or windowsill since they were extremely dirty and dusty!

Islands brygge swim.

Comfortable dubble bed. Dirty windows. Very hot in the room, so had to sleep with the windows open. Hard to sleep because of the noisy from the street below. Location great for a morning swim at Islands brygge.

Worst hotel ever do not stay here , I left after 2 nights and stayed at another hotel , I’m making a complaint to get a refund , the photos on Expedia website look nothing like the hotel they are misleading people into staying there , something should be done about it
Paul, 4-night trip

6/10 Good

This place looks more as an RbnB than an Hotel. Services doesn't exist really. Very surprising. The Hotel.com site doesn't say so much about the rooms, the fact that bathroom and toilet are common with 5 others rented rooms !!! However, we are satisfied by the location and the night was Ok.

Not worth it

Very uncomfortable beds and it was very dirty in the room. Smelled weird also. The bedsheets smelled bad and the room in general was dirty and it was very easy to hear other sounds in the other rooms. Nice area but I would not stay here again, not worth the price when it was disgusting.
Sara, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

It was definitely clean enough. It had several walkable shops nearby. I don't think I was prepared for a shared toilet or shower. I was definitely not used to that type of situation. It was ok, and I only had to wait on the toilet a couple of times. I didn't have to wait for the shower, so that was good. There were A LOT of doors to go through to get to your room. If you have a lot of luggage, that might need 2 or more trips. All in all? I would book at the 'modified hostel' again.

None are on standards. You get what you pay for. I’m not complaining. Just regretting . Lesson learned .

Our staying at your hotell was not as expecyed

Not so good. It was not cleen. Informationpapers were not discribing how it was. No breakfast, no hairdryer in the room. The reception was not knowing anything about the enviroment, hospitales nearby when such was needed!
Cecilia, 2-night trip

4/10 Fair

When we arrived the room smelled of sweaty socks. Had to open the windows on full to be able to be in there. The smell got better after doing this, but was still there our whole stay. On top of this we had (maybe the previous guests in our room) had killed/smashed about 15 flies/bugs that was still there on the cealing. NOT very nice, especially not for the 2 of us who had the top bunk beds.... Also the shower decided to stop producing hot water when I was just done shampooing my hair, so had to try to get that off in ice cold water.
