WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED IN
The WORST Hotel we have EVER stayed in.
* TELCON (Telephone Conversation) confirming booking.
Upon calling the hotel from Northern Ireland to confirm our booking and confirm adjoining rooms (family booking (Room 1 - 2 adults and 1 child) (Room 2 - 2 adults)) for Monday 25 November 2024 until Thursday 28 November 2024 as it’s a family holiday. The hotel reception staff confirmed the booking and that the 2 rooms are adjoining. I then asked if it was possible to pay for my booking now in advance as I had originally booked this hotel with Reserve Now, Pay Later via “Hotels.com”. The reception staff started to laugh at me via the phone call and informed me that this is not possible and that you pay for your hotel room upon checking out. I found it extremely strange that the hotel reception staff were laughing at me as I was trying to ascertain if it was possible to pay for our rooms over the phone, however, they put it down to the language barrier.
* UPON CHECKING IN (Monday 25 November 2024)
When we arrived at the hotel on Monday 25 November 2024, the hotel staff didn’t confirm which card was being used to book the room, which is totally understandable as there was 2 cards registered on my “Hotels.com” account (1 belonging to myself and the other belonging to my wife. However when this mistake was realised as one of the cards (my wife’s card registered on my account didn’t have enough funds in the account, however there was still a payment of £279 taken from my wife’s
