For the most part the room was clean and well presented. However, there were several long, black hairs on the bed and bedside table and the bath tub had a film of dust indicating it had neither been used or wiped down for an extended period. Finally, there was no soap apart from a very small tube of body wash. One small bar soap would have been sufficient.

On entering it was ok. Not amazing, just ok. Children were happy enough until mice (yes, plural!) began running across the floor. Watched them run out of our room and down the hallway under the reception door. Once we were fairly confident there was none in our room we had to get a blanket to block the gap under the door. Leaves you with a foul taste in your mouth and an uneasy feeling for the remainder set of the evening.

The place is very wonderful and unique. Ideal for families with children with a very homie vibe. I like that it has a kitchen where have an option to cook but there are a lot of cafe’s around.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful during both our check in and check out; they could not have been better. The cleanliness of the room could have been better (with the floor underneath the chairs and bed needing a better vacuum). The artwork throughout the hotel is amazing and gives the hotel a wonderful atmosphere.
