10/10 Exceptional

Peace and tranquility
Lovely chalet, spacious and well-equipped. All you need for self-catering plus a washer and dryer. Our chalet had a beautiful view from the large patio. No WiFi outside of restaurant (closed when we were there) and reception. TV reception, however, was good. Pleasant 20 minutes stroll to historic site

2/10 Poor

It was the most expensive place we booked during our whole tour of Tasmania. When we arrived we had power for 10 mins and then no power until after 9pm. We were freezing and wet after a day at port Arthur so was an incredibly disappointing experience (however the manager had a generator so they were fine). No offer to reduce the cost or apology from the facility. Don’t recommend to stay here. Take the time to travel to another town for the night.

6/10 Good

The accommodations were very comfortable and we enjoyed amazing sea views BUT the bar/restaurant/lodge is closed Sun and Mon (shout out to Fox & Hound Pub for serving us both nights) and there is no WIFI. Very expensive for the services we received, won’t be back.
