Overall the hotel and facilities were ok. I noticed a dried up contact lense on the bathroom floor from the previous occupant, so cleaning could have been better. I paid for my stay on arrival and was asked again to pay when leaving. Upon informing them I had paid and showing them the bank transaction I was treated rather rudley with no one seeming to believe me despite the clear proof. This was clearly a mistake they had made and rather than an appolgy and thanking me for my stay they simply informed me I could leave. Reception staff could work on their manners. Ruined what was othwise an alright time.

We loved our stay at Gloria Palace. All staff were so helpful & courteous, Alicia who cleaned our rooms was fabulous. Staff in the Restaurant were also top class, impeccable, kind, courteous & so very helpful. We have never stayed anywhere like this, but we really look forward to coming back next year!!!
