Beautiful Historic Rooms - Good Value
I absolutely love these rooms and the concept of staying in a historical building. Everything was comfortable and spacious. Great value for the area! Parking is quite clunky having to use the parking garage across the street for the casino, and its a little awkward entering through the sushi restaurant, but worth it for the cute historical rooms upstairs! Wasn't as noisy as I expected considering the location either.

Great Place to Stay
It was good, clean, and nicely decorated. The Oliver Inn has much more character than most hotels, in a good way. The rooms are nice even without windows, as it gives the illusion of having windows.

This is a unique place to stay, with an interesting connection to Duluth history. The beds were very comfortable, off-site service was extremely responsive, and the entire property was very clean. Assuming you appreciate the difference between this property and a more typical hotel, you will enjoy a stay here very much.

Tough to keep track of all the emails with information such as access codes for front door and the room door. An interesting and historic building, that smells like restaurant fryer oil on the main floor.
Municipal parking ramp across the road is not typical. You park and pay online then access the next day can be difficult. I couldn’t find an unlocked door this morning. Had to wait for someone to leave in order to get to my vehicle. The main benefits would be price and cleanliness. My room is nice and clean.

Beautiful hotel in downtown Duluth
They have done a really nice job with this property. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. They did a good job communicating door codes and check in information prior to our arrival. The parking garage across the street did seem secure and safe. We did not see anyone loitering. Downtown Duluth was a little rougher than we anticipated and our room had quite a bit of traffic noise with being in the front of the hotel (Mayor Snively). Would likely not be a problem for others, but with kids we are in bed earlier. Overall a fun experience.
