Love the bedroom!
The room was spectacular, especially the views. Loved the spa, as well. A couple of issues: housekeeping came in our room even with the privacy light on. She said it’s because we told her we wanted our room cleaned “at a later time.” Another issue was with the Wynn buffet and bc of that, we will not be going back to dine there.

Barely nicer than a low class cruise ship
Back in the early 2000s, the Wynn was the epitome of class. Not so much any longer. Upon arrival it felt like we were bearded in like cattle and had to wait 30 min in line just to check in. Considering we upgraded to a tower suite, I thought things might be easier but that wasn’t the case. The front desk gave us horrible directions to the elevators in the Encore, so we dragged our luggage around for another 20 mins before a nice security guard took pity on us and helped us out. Upon getting to our room, we were disappointed to see that the gorgeous view that was foretold and pictured in the website room description, was actually a view from The other side of the hotel that overlooked the convention center parking garage. The room itself felt a bit outdated and sterile, but the true disgusting moment came when very long hair and pubic hair was found in the bathroom (pictured below). We were absolutely appalled. The remainder of our stay was met with overcrowded restaurants, disinterested hotel staff, and mediocre overpriced food. I don’t think we will return.

When did people start smoking again on the lobby?
I had hard time because people were smoking in the lobby of the Wynn hotel. I don’t understand this and I don’t think I’ll ever be able to go back to a hotel where people can smoke indoors hotel lobby floors. I think it’s going to be tough for everyone who wants to go on a family trip.
