The Rose Garden of Shinjuku
My wife's choice because of it's cozy atmosphere. I like it because it's close to the station.

Old rooms but overall nice stay!
We enjoyed our stay. The room was very small with barely room for our bags, but we knew that going in so no surprises there! The room itself was pretty old and could use some updating (damage on walls, stains on lampshades.) However, the bathroom was nicely updated and the bed was extremely comfortable! The room was perfect for us and super convenient to the Nishi-Shinjuku stop on the maronouchi line. Overall, the price paid for the prime location was a great value! Would stay here again!

Fair 4.0
Great location, close to subway and main Shinjuku shopping area. However, there was no airconditioning on 2 of the 3 nights we stayed and the heating was cranked up in the general areas. Interestingly there was air conditioning on our first night but when we questioned why the airconditioning was not working the next night the response was they don't have airconditioning and to open the windows if hot. Unfortunately with the windows open all the street noise made sleeping impossible. Not a good experience overall.

Hotel overcharge!!!
Beware, Japan charge hotel rate per person not individual room. Online price is very deceptive.

Lovely!!
SO lovely! The lobby smelled like roses, the staff was super friendly, and the size of the room was perfect :-) The location is also wonderful: about a five minute walk to Shinjuku station, restaurants, and karaoke. I’ll definitely be staying here again!
