Covid-19 didn’t help much as a lot of activities closed so made for a very quick quiet holiday
There were practically no ammenties in the room. I expected more from a resort.
the hotel is older, the toilet made a terrible sound and we were made to wait 30 minutes to check in. the bed was comfortable and the view was perfect. overall i will not stay again because i felt the check in clerk was judging me because i was dressed in my swimsuit
Hotel is a bit dated, but the location and price can’t be beat! If you’re outside of the hotel room most of your stay and mostly just need a place to sleep this hotel is great! 10 minute walk to whalers village where they have an ABC market and lots of food options (cheaper than the hotel). Can see whales right from the beach. Did the three mile walk and the end where this hotel is, in my opinion, has the better beach and is right by black rock which is great for snorkeling. Mattress looked new but was a bit soft for my liking. Housekeeping staff was very nice and helpful. Very thankful for the A/C! I’d stay here again.
it was ok, the room had no microwave, and the room just felt like it was stuck in the '70s,
The check-in staff person was not very friendly. Our room wasn’t ready until after the check-in time. We did love the departing ceremony they held in the lobby. The rooms are very roomy but are a bit dated.
Great location a lot of activities Facility is very dated and in need of fix u
Beautiful relaxed hotel- with a proud Hawaiian heritage. Best location on Maui for the sun, but a bit out of the way for visiting the rest of the island- but it’s still manageable.
I really liked the location of the hotel. The hotel was decent and clean. Not really modern or up-to-date, but not the worse. The elevators did break down a couple of times and were slow.
Food was good - staff was extremely friendly and helpful! Property is dated.
