O hotel entrega menos que promete, mas não chega decepcionar, necessita de reformas urgentes. O café da manhã é simples, e o serviço de quarto deficiente. A internet só funciona na recepção, no quarto nem a paga. A localização é o ponto alto.

Localização perfeita

Hotel antigo e móveis de meados do século XX mas aparentemente bem conservados, pelo menos no meu quarto, uma das suítes com vista para o mar. Não vi insetos nem senti odores estranhos ou mofo e sempre que voltava dos passeios minha suíte estava impecável. O lobby, restaurante e bar do hotel são um charme à parte. O buffet é variado e não vai decepcionar. Como pontos negativos enumeraria: 1) o banheiro precisando de atualização urgente; 2) os elevadores estavam em manutenção, mas não precisei pois fiquei num dos andares mais baixos e 3) o sinal wi-fi só é liberado no Lobby, nas suítes é preciso pagar por fora.

otima localizaqção

O Hotel tem uma arquitetura belíssima, móveis de época lindos, no entanto a conservação e manutenção é precária. No quarto que fiquei a banheira está com a pintura descascada o que facilita contaminação. O Espelho está danificado. A pia tem falhas na pedra o que dificulta a limpeza. Cheiro de mofo no guarda roupa e na poltrona. O Ar condicionado antigo e não conseguimos saber se está em funcionamento. Outra surpresa foi chegar ao hotel e fazer o pagamento na chegada. O Responsável informou que essa é a prática do hotel, mas em outro momento vi que para alguns isso não é praxe! Também gostaria de informar que o uso da Internet no quarto foi impossível e ainda paguei as tentativas. Reclamei e fui informa que o sistema tinha problemas.

hotel sucio, descuidado, viejo sin mantenimiento

afortunadamente solo pasamos una noche en ese hotel categorizado con 3 estrellas pero yo le pondria 1.5*, me senti frustrado, la recepcion vieja obsoleta, las maletas se quedaron en el pasillo hasta 2 o 3 horas despues de la hora del check in, la lampara de mesa sin foco, el toillet sucio y viejo, telarañas, el bidet con oxido del grifo, el wc nuevo, espejos viejos y tina sin asear adecuadamente, me senti como en esos viejos hoteles de acapulco centro. Ojala pudieran devolvernos el dinero pagado. SIN EMBARGO, EL RESTAURANTE MUY BIEN PRESENTADO CON BUENA VARIEDAD DE BUFET.

Great experience

We stayed here during the World Cup days. The location is great, right in the center of actions of everything. The balcony (we stayed on the 11th floor) offers a fantastic view to the famed Copacabana beach. All the staffs are friendly. The breakfast was good. Very pleasant experience. Definitely recommend.

The hotel was in an ideal location, on the main beach road, breakfast was ok as compared to other Rio hotels - however one of the hotel elevator was down and and I was told it has been down for over 2 weeks, the wifi-internet was very bad. overall for a short stay its ok

Great location but do not expect much

This hotel is nested in building that was designated as appartements and not hotel. Thus do not expect usual standards from international hotels. Moreover, furnishings sound old. If you forget that I personally like the room for the following reasons: the room was spacious with a queen size bed. I feel more like my bedroom than in hotel. But the must of course is the great view on Copacabana beach. Be careful, not all the room have balcony with view on the beach. Without this view, no reason to stay at this hotel. Price was very expensive probably due to the world cup.

you won't be in it much

This hotel provides average service but you will be right on copacabana beach so you will not be in it much. It serves as only a place to sleep. Breakfast was not too bad. The worst part about this hotel is that you can't bring any guests whether its a friend or a lady. I had such a difficult time trying to bring a lady in my room and that is what copacabana is known for, beautiful women. If your young and will not stay in the hotel but don't care about bringing girls back this is right for you. If you are 30+ and will stay in the hotel for long periods of time I don't reccomend it. TV was from the 90s.

Loved the location at Copacabana Beach

We were very happy with our hotel and location on Copacabana Beach and the view of the beach was spectacular. Breakfast was very good as well. There were lots of good restaurants nearby.This was our first trip to Rio De Janeiro and we would definitely return.

I would go out of my way to discourage this hotel

The rooms were dirty. You could see a patch of dirt gathered and the hotel is really old. The beds were uncomfortable. I got a "queen sized" bed but it was two singles put together. The bathroom was unsanitary. There were bugs crawling and the sink was broken. The staffs were extremely rude. I went to the lobby to ask a question but the staff member stared at me and walked a way. The second staff member I asked did the same. I asked yet another staff member and he promoted hotel tourist packages rather than answering my questions. The shuttle service was also extremely unsatisfactory. I asked for a 10 o'clock shuttle but he said there wasn't enough room and offered 11 or 9 shuttle. I've originally chose 11 but wanted to change approximately 3 minutes after i paid to 9 shuttle. But I was told if I change, I won't be able to take the 9 shuttle. So reluctantly, I went to the airport on the 8 shuttle and arrived at the airport 4.5 hrs earlier. The elevators in the hotel was also unreliable. Most of the time, one of the two didn't work and once both didn't work so I had to take the stairs to the 10th floor. The overall service provided by the hotel was extremely below standard and my experience in Rio was ruined because of the hotel. the service I received was the worst I've ever received. I strongly discourage this hotel to anyone and I will go out of my way to tell everyone I know to avoid this hotel.
