Peaceful stay

Continues to be a peaceful oasis from the bustle of Shinjuku. Beautiful aesthetic with natural pine wood tones and Japanese design. Rooftop onsen is soothing. Breakfast is crafted with care and night snack and drink offerings were an unexpected treat this time!

Onsen Ryokan Yuen Shinjuku

We loved our stay at Onsen Ryokan Yuen Shinjuku. The aesthetics were beautiful and the reception staff were so lovely. The hotel is located on a quiet street but a short walk away from all the action. 100% would stay here again.
Phoebe, 6-night trip

Lovely quiet place to stay with an added bonus of an onsen to relax in.

A relaxing and tranquil place to return to after exploring Tokyo each day. We loved the beautiful onsen.

Beautiful hotel

Excellent stay couldn't recommend enough! This hotel has a lot of international tourists, which is no issue. The onsen is not bad but can get very busy. Highly recommend the Japanese breakfast even just for one of the nights to experience , it is very delicious! The room is a hybrid Ryokan, quite small for 2 people but beds are comfy, low cold water pressure which needs to get sorted and light does shine in easy through the blinds other than that an excellent stay. Would come back

A little out of the way from stations but in a quiet neighborhood. Probably the best hotel in the area. Accommodating staff and rooftop onsen is a plus!

Great stay in Tokyo

Great location and amenities, & the onsen was amazing!!! Rooms were small, typical of the Tokyo area. Only wish the window would open/crack a bit since it did seem stuffy even with the air on. Would stay here again!

Lovely little hotel

Great little hotel, a little way outside the hustle and bustle of Shinjuku. Check-in was easy, and the staff very friendly and helpful. The room was spotless as is usually the case in Japan. Our stay in Tokyo was blighted by rain, but this made coming back to the hotel and relaxing in the very nice onsen all the better! Overall, couldn't have wished for a better place to rest the weary bones.

Peace found in Shinjuku!

A lovely oasis a short walk from the hustle and bustle of Shinjuku. The moment you pass through into the inner courtyard, there is a calming of the nervous system! What a beautifully designed hotel. The rooms are small but efficient in their design. The Onsen is lovely. The hotel is immaculately clean. A perfect end to our Japan trip!
Nicole, 3-night trip

The hotel is in a quieter area but about 10 minutes walk to train station, shopping areas, etc. I enjoyed the onsen very much. The mineral bath makes me feel refreshing. The Japanese breakfast is delicious. I highly recommend this place.

Everything was great, the onsen on the roof and views from our room (13th floor) were amazing at night. There was even a free snack/sake/tea bar end of each day! Great value and within 10-15min walk of a station.

Wonderful place to stay

Clean and comfortable small room, wonderful food (breakfast). We did not want to leave! My partner has some small tattoos, but this was no problem, he did not have to cover them up. Great service, we stayed 2 nights and our room got cleaned. Front desk staff are very nice and accommodating.

Great stay! Highly recommend!

This was a wonderful stay with a hint of old and new.merging together, morphing into a great cultural experience. The service was great and location was also accomodating to tourists. I am very happy with mu stay and highly recommend to anyone wishing a ryokan experience in the city.

Divine property, with the best Japanese breakfast - it was next level! My only complaint is the beds have duvets and the air conditioning was too warm - I asked if I could have a top sheet - this was problematic.
Lisa, 3-night trip

The onsen was my favourite part of the stay. Amazing hotel. Highly recommend.
