We had amazing stay at Hyatt Regency. Staff is very friendly and rooms seems renovated.
Had our first stay-cation since moving to Maui for New Years' and absolutely LOVED IT! Without a doubt better than all of the hotels on Oahu and the Aloha Spirit of the staff was exceptional! We also loved the tours to feed and learn about the birds and penguins on site.
Amazing view and amenities with great pool
One of the nights the on site parking that I had to pay for was all full. It was late so I parked in the electric vehicle parking and received a warning citation. There was another non electric vehicle that was park in the spot next to me and they were not so lucky and they received a fine. All restaurants on the resort had great service, besides Jepango. The sushi was great, but the service was terrible at Jepango. The oceanfront view from the room was perfect. The pillows were too flat and soft, but everything else about the room was outstanding. This property is beautiful.
Grounds were very nice. Asked for renovated room months before arrival and then when we arrived we were told that no reno'd rooms available because someone booked the whe block and paid extra. There was no mention of an extra charge when I asked. Just that it was first come availability. And the hotel was not gull due to covid-19. The un-reno'd rooms were not great considering the cost.
I like the location. The staff is very nice. The shave ice within hotel pool side is a bonus.
The grounds were beautifully designed and kept. Was disappointed with the bartenders and food located by the pool Umgalo. Was ignored by the bartenders more than once only to have them service other patrons that arrived later than our party. Very selective.
Unfriendly staff . Rooms were old and I kept. housekeeping available only upon request
Disappointed with the room (awfull bathroom). You have to go in the rain if you want to eat in a restaurant because the restaurant inside is not accepting walk in guests, but outside yes. Totally unreasonable.
Pools, beach, view was great. Great location to local village and restaurants.
