On arrival, they didn't have our booking which was booked and paid for more than a month prior. The check-in staff member was angry at us that we didn't have a printed copy of the booking (which isn't essential anyway) but overall blamed Hotels.com for not passing on the reservation, even though we had sent two emails directly to the hotel prior to arrival (meaning the manager knew, and admitted to us, that we were coming). So there was no excuse to not have a room for us. The staff member on the night did end up arranging a room for us, however it had not been cleaned; dead cockroach on the floor, dirty bathroom, dusty table and chairs (The bed sheets were clean).
The next night we were put into another room. It was much nicer, however the toilet smelled of urine constantly even after cleaning, one bed was so old you could feel each spring, several fittings were pulled out of the wall, we had no wifi connection in the room and the shower only had luke warm water. On top of this you can hear pumping music until late at night from the pool area.
Do not stay here if you want peace and quiet.
On a positive note; several of the staff were friendly to us from the 2nd day on, and the original staff member apologized to us on our check-out. The air conditioning worked well and the location is near the bus station and a supermarket.
