This hotel clearly was renting rooms to people with extra activities. The smell of weed was overwhelming. I paid for breakfast included and didn’t have any food service at all.

Beyond the spotless room—with two showers—the view of Queens, including the number 7 train tracks and the Manhattan skyline was spectacular.

Hotel was hot and the bed was very uncomfortable. The front desk person was not very friendly. We called the front twice for an extra pillow and the person said “it’s coming, we are very busy.” Which when we were down there, only two other people were there waiting. They never brought the pillow. We also had to wait 30 minutes upon arrival at 6 pm because the room was not ready. Was not worth the price.

Low class brothel
This hotel is not for professionals, families or decent people. When I checked in, there was a man with a woman of the oldest profession, that was negotiating an hourly rate. This would be the rule rather than the exception for my stay. This is a hotel for vice. If that’s what you are looking for, then the staff seems to be quite accommodating. But DO NOT bring your family. This is a barely disguised brothel and a den of inquiry. If that’s what you are looking for, I would recommend slippers in the shower and every other form of protection outside of it.

Since I'm familiar with the area it was easy to get around but if you're unaware of traffic and limited parking you'll regret driving there.

Cozy room for a weekend in NYC
I needed a decent place to stay while I explored the city. The hotel is a short walk from a couple subway stations, and was quiet at night. Beds were comfy and staff was great. So many great restauraunts around the hotel in Elmhurst as well.

6/10 Good

This property is super accessible because of the train being right outside. However, the room had several areas that looked like they were being fixed on the roof and walls that were a bit nerve-racking. It was a very basic hotel, nothing special. The area is very dirty and busy. Very loud at night with the activity and the train so nearby. It was fine, but extremely expensive for what it was.
