The phone didn’t work so I have to go downstairs ( consider altitude sickness in Cuzco ) everytime we need something, the smell around that area ( they say is a lake under the property) is not pleasant at all … never mind if you ask for extra towel ( we rented room for 4 ppl and they gave us 2 towels )

First stay, before going to Mach Picchu, we got a room with great wifi and tv- we could access Neflix and watch tv in English. But when we returned got a room a big larger and with an updated bathroom but the Wifi was really weak and the Tv had only programs in Spanish. And we had to checkout at 6:20 am and could not even get a cup of coffee. Would be great if the hotel could improve on these issues. Otherwise we were happy with the facility and its staff

Great affordable hotel close to main square. To Wanchaq station y lots of restaurents. Great staff, great breakfast buffet. Very ood beds, rooms open lo very nice patios with nice plants. Hotel is in an old nice building with several patios. We chose a badic double room and it was fine, not much place for luggage though, but there were larger rooms to choose. Good to know: What we pay for our stay helps CBC to offer subsidized accomodation for peasant leaders coming to the city as well as other projects with local communities.

Highly recommend this hotel . Rafael went out of his way to help with reservation and answer questions before we arrived. Then upon arriving internet was a little weak and he offered to move modem closer to our room so it works well. Great location( closest to the hot springs) . Also we requested a sack breakfast and when we came down 5:30 am it was all ready to go on time . Very helpful and the hotel is super clean and nice. Hot water is nice in bathroom and sink. Thank you for a super nice stay and wonderful service.

6/10 Good

The hotel was comfortable and adequate for our purposes. It was clean, the staff were helpful, particularly when calling taxis to go to the airport and the Sacred Valley. The driver whom they arranged to take us to Urubamba was a gem - Ruben was not only a good driver and very friendly and helpful, he is also knowledgeable about the area and helped us understand the landscape through which we were travelling. The best thing about the hotel is its location. It is a very short walk to the Plaza de Armas, San Blas, Qurikancha, and all of the sights that we wanted to see. Even the Saqsayhuaman ruins at the top of the hill was only a 20 minute walk to the hotel. Tons of great restaurants also within a comfortable walking distance. If you are looking for a safe, clean, and comfortable place (with no luxuries, bells, or whistles) to use as a base while you spend most of the day out exploring Cusco, then this is it.

Good value and location.
Very convenient for Plaza de Armas and tourist areas. Very safe at night. Great value for money and helpful staff. A little noisy but this is common in Peru. Travel with earplugs. Some water issues but again this is common and happens even in more expensive hotels.

6/10 Good

Only good location and breakfast.
Its clean but olddated. When we arrived the lobby had bad smell. The shower with no pression of water. At 4am we could ear people walking and talking in the next room because the wall was too thin, and the floor was made of old wood. It did not let us sleep well.
