Great Hotel-Great Location
We love the location of this hotel. Parking is expensive at most places downtown, so we opted to use public transportation. It was super easy! The hotel staff was friendly and provided great locations for food and entertainment. We will definitely stay here during our next visit to Philly!

Our first choice for a Philly stay
This is our favorite place to stay in Philly! Beautiful, clean, central, and top notch service. We were in town for a surgery and K. made sure we were comfortable, and accommodated our need for an early check in. The view from our room made my mom fall in love with Philadelphia. Checking in around 7 took some time. The valet was not clear on who he was so I had to go inside and ask what to do. Then there was one person working the desk so I had to wait longer to check in as well. It took about 15/20 minutes which feels a little long when no one else was checking in at the time. Otherwise the hotel was fine, very central location and the rooms were good.

This hotel is in a perfect location for exploring the city as a tourist. The majority of attractions are within walking distance, and the nearby Reading Market was perfect for a variety of meals. The rooms were were a good size and well set up. The area around the hotel does have a lot of homeless people, but that seems to be a common problem in this city, and none of them caused us any issues. My only negative comment about this property is several unhelpful and unfriendly dealings with front desk clerk D, but everything else about our stay at Aloft was great.
