This lodge is OK
The room itself was fine. Some of travelers had mobility issues and the staff did a great job keeping us away from the stairs. My complaint with this lodge is the poor quality of the food served in the food court. Nearby guests described their breakfast at the "worst they had ever had". Guests on our trip judged it the same. In addition, we had to have our key card re-programmed every time we wanted to enter our room. This must be a problem the property is aware of judging by the line of guests with the exact same problem, having to get their cards re-programmed. This is a pain on cold windy nights after spending a day exploring the Grand Canyon. We were exhausted and weren't happy about having to venture back to the front desk to get the keys re-programmed.
