This hotel exceeded my expectations. the staff at this hotel go above and beyond to make sure that your stay at Hanoi is as comfortable and fun as possible. I had multiple requests and had many questions and every single one of them was answered quickly. The location is extremely convenient and close to many tourist attractions and great restaurants. I can confidently recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Hanoi.

Absolutely loved staying here. We left some luggage a few days prior to check in as we went on a cruise to Halong Bay. We were given their welcome drink on this day even though we weren't checking in which I thought was nice. The welcome drink was the best we had in Viet Nam. All front of house staff exceeded our expectation, they make the stay so much more enjoyable. Our 18month old loved playing with all of them. Very knowledgeable staff with great English speaking skills too. We stayed in the Junior suite on the 4rd floor. Didn't hear any outside noise at night and was very spacious. The breakfast was delicious with plenty to choose from and ability to make your own caphe sua da's. Great location with a fresh fruit juice shop straight across the road, laundry next door and coffee across the road too. The food from the restaurant diagonally across the road is great too. I'd love to go back to Hanoi just to say hello to everyone and so our son can say hello to his new friends too. 10/10.

Husband and I stayed at Hanoi Royal palace for a stopover during our belated honeymoon trip in late December 2024. The staff at Royal palace were very welcoming and helpful despite our short stay. Even prepared a sweet surprise for our stay :) Jimmy, the front office manager, was particularly cheerful and warm - he recommended activities for our day and also saw that our needs were met, e.g. our laundry, our transfer arrangements for the next leg of our trip. We stayed in a junior suite, and the room and facilities were clean and comfortable.

We were upgraded to a beautiful Bcony suite without extra charge. Jenny at the front desk was incredibly helpful in making sure we were comfortable and she also helped us book a walking tour and a sleeper bus to Ha Giang. The food was excellent at the hotel restaurant and the breakfast buffet was well-supplied! The bed was so comfortable and the staff were so helpful. We loved our stay here

My stay was excellent and the feel started immediately when I was attended by Miss Suly. She was patient to explain the hotel services and place of interest with her sweet smile on her face throughout the sharing. Room was superb big as I am expecting something smaller. Room was clean especially the bed/pillow cover. I would say the cleanliness standard might be better than some of those big branded 5 star hotel. Breakfast is free and serve a varieties too. I would recommend the beef soup if you are first time in Hanoi.

J’ai adoré cela pour notre premier hôtel au Vietnam. Les lits sont très confortables, belles salles de bains, grande chambre, bonne vue sur la ville (nous avons séjourné dans la suite junior). Le petit déjeuner est fantastique, une si grande gamme. Mais le plus grand crédit revient au personnel, ils sont allés au-delà de l’aide, ont passé beaucoup de temps à parcourir les cartes avec nous, à coordonner les visites que nous avions déjà réservées, à organiser des taxis à un bon prix, etc., et même à s’occuper de nos sacs après notre départ. I am 200% happy with their warm hospitality. Every staff that we met was extremely kind and helpful. Lien, who was on night shift, assisted us with early check-in at 6am (we pre-blocked the room 1 night before). She explained all the necessary information in a clear manner, gave us the hotel name card in case we get lost somewhere outside, and showed his concern saying that we must be tired from our overnight trip to Hanoi. The female receptionist in the morning remembered that we just arrived from Sapa (how amazing is she!) and showed us how to walk to Hoan Kiem lake. Jimmi helped us with taxi booking and takeaway breakfast which was totally beyond expectation. Their service is truly personalized and genuine. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone who will travel to Hanoi.

The hotel is very centrally located. Having the customer in focus and very nice treatment is a plus. The bed and pillow were comfortable to sleep in. Helpful staff who gave us tips and advice. Breakfast was good. you can also order fried eggs, pho and coffee with ice which was super good included in the breakfast. The staff at the restaurant were super nice. It is possible to book various excursions, which are also included in the price for pick-up and drop-off at the hotel. Jim, who was the office manager, helped us book excursions according to our wishes. We were very pleased.

Excellent, first time visit to Hanoi. This was facilitated in part by the support of Hotel Staff, namely, Suly at the front desk and Jenny, the Hotel's tour agent. Prior to the trip, communications with Jenny helped me and my family plan options that were appropriate for two elderly tourists. On arrival, Suly took the initiative to upgrade our room in order to maximize our experience of Hanoi with views of the city. Each day, Hotel staff members checked in to make sure we were taken care of. This attention to detail ensured a most relaxing time in Hanoi. I will return once more.

Had a great stay at Royal Palace. Staff couldnt do enough and everything was perfectly organised. We booked the indulgence package and went to Halong Bay on a cruise, and cannot rate this experience highly enough. Everything about the organisation of this package from booking to arrival was perfect and easy. The location of the hotel was also great for a first time visit to Hanoi being close the old town, lake and french quarter. The restaurant at the hotel was also wonderful. Highly recommend it.

We stayed at this hotel on and off over a 10 day period when we were not away on excursions. The hotel is in a fantastic location in the Old Quarter. The receptionist staff are very attentive and efficient. They Organise trips and when there was an issue with our room they solved it immediately. The rooms are modern and spotlessly clean. A great breakfast is included. A good range of choices from a buffet is available plus they will cook eggs etc to order. The breakfast staff were great. We particularly enjoyed talking with the breakfast manager Jimmi and one of the waitresses Cong. But they were all lovely. There is also an excellent restaurant on the 2th floor. We would definitely stay here again if we are lucky enough to return to Hanoi.

My trip was a last-minute arrangement and I had no time to do research on the city or the hotels. In the end, I felt that I choose the perfect hotel and I had a great time in the country. The staff at the Royal palace were the best, and I felt like I never left home. The place is perfectly located in the old part of Hanoi and they go the extra mile to be sure you have everything you need. I'm grateful for their attention and I'll come back again. While the hotel and rooms were quite nice and comfortable, our stay here was made exceptional through the incredible attention and thoughtful care. A staff member even walked us to a pharmacy to assist buying medicine we needed. We explained that we travel a lot and would be able to figure it out. She insisted it was no trouble and in the end, her assistance ensured we received the proper medication and the transaction happened much quicker than if we had been on our own. And this is but one example of how the entire staff went out of their way to make our stay special. I wouldn't stay anywhere else.
