Conveniently located and great value
We arrived at 08:45 and thought we'd have to wait until the afternoon to check-in. But we were given a room straight away. The reception staff were very helpful, courteous and professional. The room we were given smelt of bad drains so they immediately ordered us an alternative and a complementarity breakfast as the alternative room wasnt going to be ready unti after 11am. This gave us time to walk the 5 minutes to the Grand Bazaar. The alternative room was fine. The breakfast was of high standard and the restaurant staff were very attentive. The only down size was the extortionate prices in the hotel British style pub. Just under £7 for a regular 300cl glass of beer. We purchased the prepaid top up travel cards for the tram and ferry. Take a 20 minute trip via the ferry to the Asian side where prices for food and shopping is more competitive.

It is an old property situated on a steep hill. The room was very small and a request for a bigger room, for which I offered to pay, met with a negative response.The staff speak limited English which is surprising given its multi national clientele. I am glad I didn't prepay for breakfast as it was non existent. I have stayed in other Radisson hotels and this one compares badly with the others.

We really liked the convenience of this hotel. It was perfectly located for all the places we wanted to go. The staff were so friendly and always available to advise us.
