British Colonial at Nassau
British Colonial stay was awesome ( cordial, joyful and helpful)! 1. Newly renovated facility. Amazing staff! 2. Private, clean beach with amenities for kayak/paddle board/ water-cycle, life-jackets, chairs, umbrellas. 3. Taxis available outside the property. Got taxi at 5.30 am. Some are standing even at 4.00 am for early morning flights (no Uber or Lyft in Nassau). 4. 1-5 mins walking distance from Hertz and Avis car rental. 5. Family friendly. 6. Pools were clean, for small kids, adults, heated ones, infinity pool, lifeguard and life-jackets availability. 7. Location was super; close to cruise ship port, straw market, Umbrella lane, Queens Staircase, Fin Castle, Pirates Museum, Jitney stop, various restaurants, kids favorite Dunkin, McDonals, Burger King, Cable Beach, Cabbage Beach/Paradise island; Junkanoo public beach, Arawak Cay-Fish Fry market, Saunders beach. 8. 5 min walking distance to ferry and boat tours near Senior Frog and Margaritaville water park.

Bahamas meh!
Hotel is nice but the area it is in is not nice. Getting food after 4:30pm is such a challenge. The downtown port are is very dirty and crowded. You are basically stuck at the hotel. The hotel is nice but showing its age in many ways.

Newly renovated (used to be Hilton), Location is amazing. Very friendly staff. But for a newly renovated hotel not to have USB ports, does not make sense. It was difficult to get into the shower, because the sync would block the shower door from opening all the way. Small issues like that.

Pleasant hotel for a short stay in Nassau.
Pleasant one night stay while we were in transit. The hotel is in a good location for exploring Nassau and the grounds are a nice place to hang out for a few hours. The room was okay - though far too hot. The air-conditioning doesn't seem to work overnight! And although the hotel has had a major refurb, the room we were in already looked a little tired.

Worth your money and the experience.
My family is very picky with hotel stays. It takes a lot to please them. This hotel checked all the blocks. The entry was tastefully decorated, elevators and hallway were clean and odorless. Room was large and clean. The sheets were pristine, and comfortable. Room is retouched daily and restocked with enough bath towels. Walking out to be back was tastefully manicured pools extending to the beach. The pools were also maintained and the workers weee attentive to our needs. It is a little bit on the pricey side but you pay for what you get. I have recommended this hotel to many of my family and friends.
