Windows in the room were open. Look like they hadn’t been washed in years. Room smelled musty and of old smoke. Had to ring for reception staff several times. She didn’t look happy to see us, and she wasn’t happy we requested a no-smoking room. Place was so dirty we left and got another hotel.

Not worth It!
Poor! I did not realize tbat this establishment was at a truck stop/gas station. When booking and looking at the photos on line, dont be fooled. It is a bait and switch. The building is in need of repairs, furniture is old, the "continental breakfast" area, dont waste ur time. Our room smelled of mold and smoke, the bedding looked old, there were holes in tbe blankets (cigarette burns). Shower curtain was hangjng off and mold in the ceilling. Worse of all, there was no heat. We did not feel comfortable or safe. We slept in our clothes. I was willing to lose $100 to find another hotel, unfortunately, i was not able to find another place. It looked like others were living in the hotel. The department of health or management must care about this establishment to enure it is a clean, safe and an inhabitable environment for its guess.

Needs renovation
According to staff the hotel "overbooks". Was concerned I was even going to get a room as I watched two staff members be hostile to a customer. Elevator had a rug thrown on top of original carpet and not even neatly laid out. Whole place is very worn and did not have a clean feeling about it. The chain for securing door in room was gone.

Smelled like cigarettes as soon as you walk in, slow front desk people who seem very confused, were given a different room than the one we reserved (front desk woman said it’s because Expedia over books the hotel). When entering my room there were loads of laundry and towels on one of the beds (the woman says she left them there so she doesn’t have to walk far to the closet I guess?). Phone didn’t work, no wifi, and bathroom light barely worked.

We immediately got a refund and they are trying to refuse it! We didnt touch a single thing i bleched the bottom of my shoes immediately after getting home. We drove 3 hours home late at night to not stay there. Blood on the carpets. Smoke stained walls. No lock on the door. Hotel from H*LL!

We arrived after 9 pm after a very long day. When we got to our room, we found the door ajar, the lights on and the blankets in both beds turned down. My husband returned to the Front Desk and shortly thereafter, a Manager came to evaluate the room for herself. She asked if I had turned down the blankets and I explained that I had not even taken off my jacket. I was standing there with the luggage cart holding my belongings. She then said she had a room across the hall that was available so I moved our stuff over there, unloaded the cart and returned it. However, upon returning to the room to turn in for the night, we found that the carpet was dirty, in need of a good cleaning, the pocket door to the bathroom had duct tape where a door knob should have been and the shower stall had a cheap plastic shower curtain hooked over the frame of what was probably a shower door at one time. Finally, the room had no secondary lock on the door found in most hotel rooms to avoid break-ins, only the regular door lock. Had it not been so late and we were so tired, we would have left and found another hotel in the area. This is a first experience of this type with this site.

We could not find the hotel there were no lite signs. The parking lot was dark. The carpet in the hallway and room were stained and dirty. The room had poor lighting There was wood with with sawdust on the floor near the window. Behind the bed there was food on the floor. Tje tv didn’t work. The bedspreads were stained andalso the walls. No blankets in the room. No hot water rustty baseboard.Wallpaper. stained and peeling off the wall. No water cups. Toiletpaper holder missing. Two tiny bars of soap half the size of my pinky finger and one shampoo no other toiletries. The free breakfast was cereal portioned in baggies doughnut holes loose im a plastic container no plates or utensils or napkins. The place should be condemned.

This hotel is not for the faint of heart or the immuno-compromised. My wife and I stayed here out of necessity (UConn convenient). The hotel is dirty to the point of feeling like you should wear latex on all exposed skin, and the very young, very old, and those with open sores should avoid it. The odor is distinct. Imagine a stack of dirty ashtrays piled next to a sink of old dishwater under a midday July sun, and then imagine this in a gas station. The staff is noteworthy too. I met a manager. He was gruff and wet and beefy. He ordered me to sit down during check in. He repeated the command about four times over the course of a minute. I did not want to sit down on the faux leather couch or its sister couch. Mostly because the two boys who were playing on these couches (unsupervised) seemed to be sticking to the pleather. So, no thanks. I don't want to sit down on your creepy, pleather glue traps. This hotel boasts two starts, which must be aspirational. Look anywhere else for lodging. If you must book here, use caution. Get your shots. Take your vitamins. Open your mind, and, admittedly, it could be worse.

Old, outdated. It was quiet, which was good, but very strong cigarette smoke smell when entering the lobby. We had a non- smoking room so we did not smell it in our room or on the 3rd floor. Took a long time to get checked in - just very slow service. We did not eat breakfast there, do can’t comment on that. Next door to a truck stop which was convenient.

For a quick overnight stay it fit the bill. But the lack of cleanliness was very disconcerting. I would not recommend nor would I go back. But it did suit its purpose and we survived.

I simply couldn't sleep or shower in the hotel. I went to another hotel. The room and bathroom were dirty and everything stank from the carpet to the walls etc. I preferred to lose what I had paid. This is my first bad experience renting from Expedia.
