Great place!
El cid Moro has something for everyone , families can hang at the pool or couples on the beach or hot tub. Service is excellent and rooms and views are great. Downside is the food. Don’t go with the all inclusive since you’ll sour on the quality. Instead wander around to Shekinah Beach Club or Chile Pepers or Diego’s for great meals.

I didn’t like that it was close to a local bar and they didn’t have Pacifico’s beer at the resort bars.

Overall is a pretty outdated Hotel! In pictures things look newer. definitely NOT Recent, as far as cleaning it was not; pillows had a sweat smell upon arrival, did let staff know said they would clean, supposedly they did but smell was still there! Our phone did not work to dial reported 3 times & was not fixed. Aside from that staff was so kind and nice, all the waiters were amazing love the staff. For the price def expected more quality

The pictures of the amenities offered by the resort attract you. When we arrived, we saw exactly was illustrated in the pictures (rock slides, waterfalls, and rock cliff to jump off into the swimming pool.) The resort decided to have staffing work on the attraction during, what I would imagine is the busiest time of the week. (Thursday through Sunday) . It happened to be during our entire stay, theefofe my kids we not able to have fun in what they thought they’d be able to use. Second, the “all inclusive” feature I purchased is unclear. Nowhere does it say what is included within menus, and or areas. It was mainly word of mouth by the waiters at the resort. Certain waiters would bring me things such as bottled waters, and others would deny it and tell me it’s not included in my package. When I asked them to show me where that was stated in “fine print” they could not prove it and still denied me bottled waters. I brought up to the attention of the member staffing twice and not once did I receive an apology. They didn’t care in any way. They were passive about the information and changed the subject. I won’t stay here ever again.

I paid specifically for a beach front view and I was given a partial ocean view, the Expedia management at the hotel was able to accommodate to my request of beach front by our second night. Once we settled in to our new room, we found a giant cockroach on one of the beds. I complained and they were very quick to send in maintenance. Throughout our trip we came across multiple employees by the outside bar who ignored our request to order food and beverages which was included in our all inclusive package that we had purchased through the VIP Expedia agency located in the hotel. This hotel has been my favorite since I was a child, however after paying $3000 including their one thousand peso resort fee and adding the all inclusive for our 5 night stay I can say I will not be coming back. It has gone up in price and the hotel is a bit outdated. For the price I paid I imagined better service like my previous stays at El Cid Hotels, and a better room. The staff at La Concha was excellent, I would like to thank the waiter who took care of my family and I because he was amazing. His name is Jose Alberto Loaisa. Best of Luck to the hotel, we will not be coming back.

It’s a great place! The food is good, the facilities need to up kept more. A more deep detailed cleaning is needed. And more areas with AC so you can sit down and enjoy a drink overlooking the pool area. More night activities for adults and maybe even for teens to hang out.

My daughter and I spent two nights at El Cid Moro Hotel in Mazatlán. We stayed at one of their junior suites. Our hotel room was big, nicely decorated, and it had the most amazing view ever. The bathroom had a funky smell, and the toilet bowl had yellow stains. We opted for the European plan which meant we had to buy our own drinks. We ended up paying almost 40 dollars for 2 drinks. The hotel didn’t have enough umbrellas and loungers by the beach, but it had 3 different swimming pools
