. Our Standard room was based on the first floor and was nice, especially the shower. Breakfast selection was good for this rate of hotel. Parking was 5 minutes away from the hotel. The location of the hotel is good. Easy to get to the restaurants and city centre, especially the Theatre Royal."

After reading reviews I almost cancelled and went else where but as it was so well located for our route I thought how bad can it be? Yes it’s run down and the whole place could do with a refurb BUT the room and beds were clean and reasonably comfortable and we all slept ok. "Cleanliness and services were ok. Amenities a bit less due to lack of storage place in the room and not enough clothing hangers. Wet towels compete with coats for space! The ventilation noise is a problem, too loud for a good night sleep! Free parking is the good thing!"
