"My family and I loved our stay at Jewel Grande even though there were some things they need to improve. First, the staff were excellent. They were kind, friendly and very helpful. Our butlers Denton and Aston were wonderful. We were celebrating my daughter's 16th birthday and Aston went out of his way to decorate our room and door. He also had the staff at the restaurant sing Happy Birthday to her and present her with a cake. They made sure we had transportation anywhere we wanted to go. They were great! Security was great also. We felt very safe. Our only concerns were housekeeping, the condition of the room and the air conditioning. The room was huge and we loved the space but the room was not clean to ou liking. The floors were dirty and the cushions on the patio furniture had large stains. The bedroom windows were very dirty. As if they've never been cleaned. We requested to have the cushions changed but housekeeping never changed them even though they said they would. The room only got a little cool at night. During the day the room was only slightly cooler than outside. They tell you to keep the patio doors closed but that doesn't help. There was only one elevator working and the areas near the elevator was extremely hot. They need to invest in updating the entire property not just one building. Transportation was also an issue. They should provide shuttle service at least to some of the local attractions. We had to pay for a ca eytime we wanted to go right down the "

"The food was great they had a lot of options. The lasagna was awesome in the Italian restaurant. The beds are comfortable just could use a comforter because the rooms are cold. Overall everything was great."

"After reading reviews I was a bit hesitant to book but gave it a try for the great value. I was pleasantly surprised. The food was plentiful and delicious. I liked that there was also a snack bar, coffee & ice cream bar…& two bars with good vibes. The staff was amazing all through the resort! It is on the cheaper end for all inclusive so if you keep that in mind it’s well worth the money. Access to Doctors Cave beach a bonus and beautiful, although you did have to pay for chairs and umbrellas but access was free. For what I paid this property gets 5 star all round! "

"Facilities-/ There were areas of peeling paint. Some of the furniture in the room looked a little abused. The blue mountain restaurant was great but the meal took quite a long time to arrive. The Asian restaurant was average. We didn’t participate in the Hibachi. The French restaurant was very good. Loved the entertainment. The foam party was a great hit. Loved the spa "

"Loved the resort! Room was clean. Bathroom has a separate tub/shower and closet toilet. Plenty of food and drinks. Lots of chairs by the beach and pool. Each restaurant I tried waw really good. Nice mix of quiet time and activities. There's hot tubs outside and one inside the spa. The spa also had a cold plunge. The spa massages are on the expensive side, but the massage was really nice."
