"This was my boyfriend and I first vacation together. We celebrated our 2 year anniversary at Sawmill creek resort. Let’s just say it was fantastic, with a breakfast restaurant and a dinner restaurant. Plus Starbucks!! A lovely out door and indoor pool. Just everything was perfect for our first vacation together and our anniversary. The Millers table was great our wonderful waitress helped us celebrate with a delicious crème brûlée dessert. "Our family of four recently visited Sandusky for a trip to Cedar Point, and we had a fantastic stay. The hotel was very clean and welcoming, making us feel comfortable right from the start. Although the room was a bit small, we made it work comfortably for our family.
One of the highlights was the outdoor pool, which was large and fun, complete with a slide and Jacuzzi — perfect for relaxing after a day at the amusement park. Overall, it was a great place to stay, and we enjoyed our time in Sandusky. We would definitely recommend it to other families visiting Cedar Point!"

"It’s ok for the price. Staff was amazing, but the room itself was rough. Very outdated, musty smelling, and lots of dead bugs. It was a room for the night but I probably wouldn’t stay again unless you’re really on a budget."
"Check in was a little slow but we didn't mind. The room was nice and comfortable. It also had a pull out bed chair which was a nice surprise. The kids loved the water park . We didn't order any food instead ordered dominos. It was a lot cheaper. It looked like they had good food choices for decent prices though. Loved having a Starbucks in the hotel. There is a bbq restaurant you can walk outside too its basically attached. One thing i learned while we were checking out you can come before check in and enjoy everything while you are waiting on your room and also enjoy the water park the whole next day after check out."
