First time visit and I was impressed with the history and quality of the springs. The town is also peaceful and probably vibrant in the summer (I visited in February). Sights were also breathtaking being near the mountains!

The town itself is very artsy with many little shops but most of all the Roman bathhouses are awesome. We suggest the Old Roman Bathhouse, reasonably priced but make reservations especially on the weekends.

Plenty to do and see in town. Farmers market in the summer on Sundays. Historical markers around to read. The C&O canal tunnel in Paw Paw was on our list and it needed more markers.
