La Verkin is a bedroom/farming community. It's far enough from Zion National Park for hotel prices to drop. The area is very safe. Restaurants: Red Fort is very good. In Hurricane (her-uh-cun) try Main St Cafe, Pizza Wagon & Peruvian Flavors.

The quaint town with nice restaurants that aren't national chains. We worked there for very long but the town seemed welcoming.

"The trip was awesome great friendly staff. The Indian restaurant was absolutely amazing. My only concern was the door to get into the hall was broken so we had to wait to be let in. But it was great. "

"Hotel looks fairly new, breakfast is the standard one from all Fairfield’s I have been and comfortable.
The staff is kind of quiet but they answer nicely when you ask something. 15 minutes away from Zion"
"I enjoyed my stay here! It is my second time staying. They are always so welcoming and friendly! My only complaint would be the temperature of the pool. It was so hot it wasn’t enjoyable at all. "
