"Old hotel, very dated and in disrepair. Cigarette butts all over front steps leading up to hotel. Nothing close to it other than the airport. It was as expensive as some of the nicest hotels we stayed in for our vacation and definitely not worth the value. Would not stay there again."

The restaurant, Redwood Grill, had just stopped serving breakfast, yet the lovely Server, graciously agreed to ask the chef to prepare my breakfast request - the meal was well prepared, presented and delicious.

"Lots of good with this hotel. Rooms are new and modern. The showers are great. We had a kitchenette and it was full stocked. Stove, microwave, toaster, kettle, plates, cups, pots, and utensils. The pool is big and clean. Hot tub and slide are excellent. The location is great. Just outside halifax. Walmart close by and lots of places to eat. NSLC (alcohol store) is a two minute walk away lol. Chrome cast for the TV. They did everything well.
My only suggestion would be to close the pool to kids after 8pm, so adults can have some pool time till 10 or 11 or 12pm. 😀 "

"Overall it was great. Everything we required! Lots of breakfast choices (all great except eggs). The air conditioner/heating unit was very loud and woke me when it would start up but I’m not a sound sleeper. All that being said I would recommend it and would stay again. "
