The rooms we had were real good. It would have been nice to have a television as our stay involved the Hurricane Lee and we were stuck in the room for 2 days. Quite comfortable and owner was accommodating.

Best B & B to note so far.
My stay was amazing I spent from Sept 11th-15th here the room “William” was cozy and clean. I love the safety features of a code in order to enter the B & B. This establishment has a very sought after restaurant and bar below. Lots of parking. I’m happy to say my very first visit to the lovely NS area was lovely. Many thanks to the owners and operators of The Fourth Lock Bed and Breakfast. I will definitely visit and stay here again and proud to pass on all info for this beautiful spot. 😊

Beds??
While the physical condition and the location of Fourth Lock were excellent, the beds made all that pale in comparison. The beds were some of the worst we had ever slept in. All3 of us agreed. Nobody had a decent night's sleep. Since that was the main purpose of our stay, thus the low rating. If they would only buy decent beds, their rating would be sky high. Everything else was perfect. Invest in decent beds...please.

Clean & spacious
We had a late check in and left again early in the morning. The place was clean & spacious. They thoughtfully prepared a breakfast bag to go. The fridge was also stocked with juices, cold water and yogurt for all guests. AC unit in the room made for a comfortable stay while temps outside were 35+ degrees.

Worst place to stay, bed sagged due to age, experience insects in the room and woke up to ants and spider on the bed. No hot running water either had to take a cold shower

HOT and loud, no air conditioning
When we got to the suite at 5 pm the inside temp was 32'c, after 6 houra we managed to get the temp down to 27 with 2 crappy fans. We slept with all the window and doors open, which isnt ideal because its above a loud patio and busy road. Beautiful suite but without air conditioning, it was a terrible stay.

I was in the William room. It was spacious and quiet, right inside the door. The bed was so comfortable and cozy. Beautiful view off the deck and one of the best blueberry muffins I have had to start off my day!
